Harvest of wisdom
HOMESTEADING CONFERENCE XII
March 9, 2024

Growing season will soon be upon us and our next Harvest of Wisdom XII workshop is on Saturday, March 9. 2024. We’ll focus on preparing our gardens and ourselves for spring and beyond.

We have lined up some outstanding speakers for the day, including one of the leaders of the revitalized “Catholic Land Movement” in the U.S., Michael Thomas. Michael is a very popular speaker and lives the life he champions in rural New York. This is a special opportunity to hear his vision for a return to Catholic values in our working lives.

Coming back for another presentation is Reuben DeMaster, owner of Willow Haven Farm, who hosted our last workshop at his farm in September. And retired Penn State Cooperative Extension agent, Scott Guiser, shares his wisdom and research on raising fruits, both large and small.
